A unique feature of the 3M Unitek Lateral Development System is that the archwires have circular anterior contours available in three coordinating sizes with approximate radii of 28 mm, 26 mm and 24 mm. Each wire is specifically designed to align and display the upper anterior six teeth for a known range of mesial distal tooth sizes.
